I love Anna Maria Horner’s fabrics.
They are gorgeous, colorful, whimsical (insert any lovely adjective here).
I have a couple of yards of these beauties in my stack, just waiting to be used.
I just can’t decide what to use them for!
This I used…
…to make these…
Cheeky, eh?
Take a look around her online shop and besides beautiful fabrics, you’ll find books, patterns, beautiful aprons, kitchen towels… even rugs.
I have decided this is the next thing that I am making for myself. Isn’t it darling? She calls it the Museum Tunic and provides simple instructions on her blog. I am hoping to get over to Textile Fabrics tomorrow (with all three children in tow) to buy the fabric. They are having a 50% off sale right now, so the time is right! I might even put together a tutorial as I make it. All I have to do is decide which color to go with…
Which color do you think I should choose?

all so gorgeous! i think the yellow would be fun for the summer, but the pink is a bit flirty. i say pink.
That dress is adorable. You are very brave to take three kids anywhere like that. It is my least favorite thing to do in the entire world. Good luck.
PS Hi from Sits.
I like the gray. But they are all lovely. I liked that too. Seems easy!
Yellow is such a lovely color, but it might be too much as a dress. I think the gray has the right balance
I like the gray for your tunic. I wanted to add that I loove the multi-colored horizontal stripes over gray on the upper left. I would love to see you make something with that one!
Cute Dress! I like the pink & the brown colors the best! I wish I was crafty enough to make a dress!
By the way I sent you an email on the photo collage thing!
Have a great day!
Very cute fabrics. I believe i like the gray best too. I love the green in it.
Yes, please do a tutorial on this! As a new sewer, I could use more directions than Horner provides!

I love her dress. It will be great to have this summer. It will be fun to see what fabric you choose.
Beautiful fabrics! Love the cheekies too
It was awesome to meet you at Whipstitch – I love your site and am now a follower! Hope we can connect again soon in ATL!
I would choose the plum color in the middle. I saw that tunic on her blog, it is so cute! I wish I had seen it before I went on vacation!
On a side note, I made myself a maxi dress for my trip and did some shirring! I hope to post some pics this week!
Happy sewing!b
