Springtime Origami Garland.

Spring is in the air, folks!  I have spring fever all right.  The weather is gorgeous, the birds are singing, the kids are playing, and I am cleaning out the clutter (thanks to Project Simplify and my supportive husband)!  In addition to cleaning out clutter, I tend to be making more, but it’s pretty clutter.  Let’s not call it clutter, let’s call it festive spring decorations!  In fact, let’s call it…
Springtime Origami Garland

Abby got an origami kit awhile back (was it Christmas?).  She brought it out  a few nights ago and we started folding.  We soon had a bunch of little paper cups that we had made in all different colors.  They looked so sweet that I had to do something with them, so we grabbed some twine and paper clips and made garland.  Doesn’t it look adorable?  Grab some spring flowers and you’ve got yourself a sweet hand made decoration to welcome spring.

Supplies needed: Origami paper (or any pretty paper cut into squares), twine, paper clips.

To make the cup with color on the inside as well, just use two sheets of paper, wrong sides together.

I seem to be incapable of folding paper correctly and thus have a love hate relationship with origami. I may have to go dig out our books and paper after seeing this. So sweet.
