This little boy eats, sleeps, and breathes Spiderman these days. It’s so funny how kids go from phase to phase. For a very long time he was into trains. Not just Thomas, mind you, but trains in general. He would spend so much time flipping through very thick books, like train encyclopedias. He knew a lot about trains. That passed and he moved on to galaxies far far away. Astronauts, space, planets fascinate him. He still is very into that subject, but along with that, the Superheroes.
There are more Superheroes in existence then I care to know about. So far he seems to be sticking to the traditional guys and Spiderman is at the head of his list, with Iron Man running a close second. He has been begging for a Spiderman t-shirt, and yesterday I happily obliged him with this one.
I love the way it turned out, but man was it a labor of love cutting it out! Totally worth it though, to see the smile on his face when I showed it to him. On it went, without a moment to spare. Today I’m working on Iron Man for Levi because, as all of you know, if one brother has one, so must the other. Stay tuned for the tutorial…
