I was checking in over at MADE a couple of weeks ago and was inspired by Dana’s Happy Day Garland. I wanted to make some for my boys, but felt like making it a bit more boyish. So was born the Robot Garland.
I used an old cereal box as a template… just drew a little robot and cut him out, then traced him onto different colors of felt. I cut them out, added a few squares and circles, stitched them together with my machine, and it was done! A simple project that takes little time to make, but makes kids really happy!
The possibilities are endless! If you can draw it or find it on the internet, you can make it into felt garland. Easy as that!

What shapes would your kids go gaga over?
