Creative Me Monday

It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas!
We bought our Christmas tree over the weekend and did a little bit of decorating here at The Southern Institute. I love this part of the season. The kids had a blast. It was the first year that all three of them were able to hang the ornaments on there own. There was the expected concentration of ornaments at the bottom of the tree. I know it’s the same at your home if you have young ones. Do you leave them, or do you distribute them after they’ve gone to bed? I was going to leave them, but they were weighing the branches down to much, so I had to move some of them.
I made a Christmas banner for the mantle this year instead of hanging our advent calender. I’ll be posting about how I made it later this week… so simple!

You all have been busy too! This weeks featured blog is Quiver Full of Blessings. Her children made these awesome Jeweled Christmas Tree ornament cookies one day. They are adorable… I’ve never seen anything like them, have you tried making these before? I bet they taste as good as they look.
