nrelate plugin… bloggers take note!

Pin ItIf you are a blogger and one of your goals is to increase page views within your blog (what blogger doesn’t want that?) then I’d love to tell you a little bit about the nrelate plugin that I have been using here at The Southern Institute.  nrelate is a free tool that you can use to help your readers find more content on your blog.  Take a look at the bottom of each post at The Southern Institute and you’ll see something like this:

Those five little boxes at the bottom of my posts are the nrelate plugin.  I used to use the Link Within tool, but I have to say that I like nrelate a lot better!  First of all, like Link Within, it’s free!  You can’t beat that.  Anytime I can incorporate something into my blog that will improve it at no cost I’ll take advantage of it.  Why not try it, right?

There are a few things that I really like about this plugin:
  • I can customize the way it looks!  There are several different styles to choose from.  I’m using the Trendland style, which places a transparent text box on each square.  You can choose from five others.
  • You can choose how many related posts to display and how large they are.
  • You can monetize the plugin by allowing them to advertise, and you can choose how many advertisements are shown.
  • Using nrelate increases page views by 5-12%!
  • It’s SEO friendly.
One of the coolest features of nrelate is that I can promote other blogs that I love!  I can post related content from my favorite sites, sending traffic their way.  What a cool way to support other bloggers!
nrelate is available for both Blogger and WordPress.  It is very easy to set up and only takes a few minutes to choose your settings and install it on your blog.  I love it!  I have seen an increase in page views on my blog, for sure, plus it does a really good job of grabbing related content for my readers to explore.  I like the way it looks and that I can share the love with my favorite bloggers!
You can try out the nrelate related content plugin too!  See how you like it and if it helps grow your blog… if not, you can always remove it and go back to what you had before.  You have nothing to lose, and I guarantee you’ll be happy with it.
This is a paid post for nrelate through Blueprint Social.  All opinions are honest and my own.
