DIY Monster Claws.

Whether or not your kids participate in Halloween, you can always enjoy a FUN pair of Monster Claws around the house! Today I am showing you how to make a wild pair of claws for your little wild one using a simple pair of gloves (that I purchased from the $1 bin of the craft store) and some black felt triangles! Sound easy enough? Well, it is! Here’s how:

Materials Needed:

1 pair of knit gloves (we used white)

10 tiny triangles cut from felt (we used black felt and cut the base and height both about 1/2 inch)

hot glue stick and hot glue guns

Step 1

Lay out your triangle at the top of each finger of your gloves and make sure the base is the correct size.

Step 2

Using your finger, invert the very tip of each glove finger and apply hot glue inside. While squeezing open, tuck the triangle inside (you may want to use a pen to push it down inside) then squeeze closed.

Step 3

Hold the tip with triangle inside closed with your thumb and forefinger for a few seconds until the glue is more dry then lay flat to dry completely.

Step 4

Repeat these steps with each finger until each finger has a claw!

Now, let your little one put on the new Monster Gloves and go WILD!

Have fun!

  2. These are adorable Caroline! And it would be a great way to repurpose some old gloves or pick up a thrifted pair to make them. What a great, simple idea!
