Please welcome Aimee, from twiggstudios, to The Southern Institute today! I’m so very excited to share the blog with Aimee today. She is a faithful Creative Me linker-upper and always does such a beautiful job with her projects. Today she is sharing a really fun project with us. I was just in Target today and saw ornaments JUST LIKE THIS for several dollars a piece and found myself thinking, “What a genious that Aimee is!” So here you go… time to learn how to make your own Sweater Baubles!
Hi, I’m Aimee from over at twiggstudios and I’m super excited to be guest posting here today! Ready to learn how you can make your own sweater baubles?
I took an old sweater that I didn’t wear and cut a piece of it off. Next, I took the top off the bauble and wrapped the sweater piece around it tightly, and then secured it with a white elastic band. I trimmed the excess off as much as I could and tied another band around really tightly, then I poked the top part back on and glued it in place. Lastly, I got some lace ribbon and glued it around the top to hide the elastic band and cut sweater… and that’s all it took!
Thank you so much for sharing this with us, Aimee! I know that more than a few of us are going to try this at home, and our trees will be prettier for it! Please make sure to stop by twiggstudios, say hello to Aimee, and follow along with her blog! Have a great day!

So cute! And easy! Since I can’t crouchet or knit, this is the perfect craft for me.
Absolutely, Karin! And I can imagine that you will add your own little flair to it too.
These are really cute!!!
