Fat Quarter Shop, long time friends and sponsor of The Southern Institute, have a surprise for you!
A giveaway to start your December off just right!
My lovely friends at Fat Quarter Shop are giving one lucky Southern Institute reader a jelly roll of Joy by Kate Spain, and with plenty of time to use it to create something beautiful for Christmas. What would you make with this pretty little giveaway bundle? Since I’m not much of a quilter, so I might use it to make some tiny Christmas banners to decorate our mini tree.
If you haven’t been to Fat Quarter Shop lately you’ll have to stop by and take a look around. They have such a great stock of fabrics, including one of my favorite Christmas fabrics. The Bloom Quilt that is featured on the front page right now is absolutely GORGEOUS! Pay a visit to the shop and I bet you’ll find a few things to add to your Christmas list!

Jelly rolls are great for making quick quilts. If I start now, I would have an extra gift for next year.
(I’m not so great at making quick quilts.)
I can’t seem to finish the first quilt I ever started… two years ago!!! I bet your quicker than that!
