The snow has now turned Sweden in to a winter wonderland and advent stars are lighting up the dark afternoons. We’re heading towards christmas and we love it. On our wishlist this year is more time spent with the children. What better way to do it than by making christmas crafts. Today we’re going to show you how to make super easy paper ornaments. A craft for children of all ages.
You need white heavy weight paper, washi tape or colored masking tape and a pair of scissors.
1. Download and use our pdf template to draw ornaments on to the white heavy weight paper. Then cover the ornament with stripes of tape. As you can see the lines are clearly visible through the tape.
2. When you’re pleased with your design, trim off the excess paper and tape.
Punch a small hole at the top and add a string of thread for hanging. Done!
Washi tape, or decor tape, is fun and easy to work with. It’s not at all messy and perfect when working with kids.
The ornaments can be used in christmas trees or just taped onto a wall. Freja also turned some of hers into gift lables. This one is for me. It says ”To Mom, From Freja”. I must have been good this year!
