I’m addicted to sewing with knits lately, which is why I am loving so many of the patterns in the Sew Fab Bundle (affiliate link). The Fancy Pants Leggings pattern, from Titchy Threads is one of my favorite patterns right now, and I bet it will become one of your favorites too.
To start, it’s a super duper easy pattern to sew up! There are just a few pieces to sew and they come together very quickly and easily.
Secondly, it does not require any elastic, although there is an option for elastic at the waistband. If you have a child who is sensitive about elastic waistbands then you will know how awesome it is to have a non-elastic option for leggings and undershorts.
…come on! Have you ever seen anything cuter than that???
This striped little number is a pair of leggings that I made in size 0-3 months for my nephew who is due to be born in just 3-4 weeks! I cannot wait to see him in them! They are just the tiniest little things!
One of the best things about making your own clothes is the freedom that comes with it. I customized plain old red knit fabric by creating a stencil of a star and using fabric paint to paint them onto the fabric. I absolutely love the way that it turned out.
You can get the Fancy Pants Leggings Pattern by buying the Sew Fab Pattern Bundle (affiliate link) through 8 am EST this Tuesday morning!
