The GROW Method Link Up!

Hello, and welcome to the GROW Method Link Up!  Starting on World Food Day we started looking the the GROW Method principles and today is the culmination of that.  I’m a little bit scared that maybe no one got as excited about this as I did.  I’m afraid that no one is going to link up today.  I know it was a bit of a departure from the crafty norm here, but I feel like it fits really well with the food side of this community.  I also feel like the problem of hunger in the world is something that should make all of us take time to look at ourselves and ask ourselves what we can do on a daily basis to help.  The GROW Method has provided us with many ways to make a difference.  My family had been doing many of them before I even learned about the GROW Method, and my guess it that many of you had been too.

These are the five principles that we have been learning about (click on the image to go to the full post):

Now it’s your turn to show us how you have used the GROW Method in your life!  Link up your posts with us, and keep up the good work!  Have a wonderful weekend, everyone!

Creative Me Monday.

I’m excited to open up this week’s Creative Me Monday link up!  What a great linky party last week!  The more of you that link up, the harder it is for me to choose a featured blog.  Every entry is so unique and creative… keep up the great work!

Today I have a sweet tooth so these stuck out to me… I’m wishing I had a plate of these right now.  Aren’t they adorable???  They come from Lorie at Reading Confetti and were eaten after storytime with her little boy.  You’ll have to visit her post to find out what story they read.  Thanks so much for linking up with Creative Me Monday, Lorie!  Hope to see you this week too!

Okay, now it’s your turn!  Link up your projects and I’ll pick one project to feature next Monday.  Please make sure to post the Creative Me Monday button on your blog or link back to The Southern Institute in your post to be in the running for the featured spot!  You can link up more than one project if you want to.  Please link up projects or recipes only, no shops.  Thanks!

I have a “Featured” button too!  If you’re project has been in the featured spot on Creative Me Monday, please do grab the button for your blog!

It’s that time again!  Time to link up your projects with us.  Yes, it’s Monday already… it seems as if the weeks go by in a flash doesn’t it?  I applaud all of you for finding the time to put on your creative “hats” and make something beautiful, delicious, fun, whatever!

This week I’m featuring this beautiful felt pillow from Southern Lovely.

What a beautiful pillow!  I love the pop of color that it adds to her bedroom.  Take a look at the complete post and you’ll see what I mean.  She included a tutorial too, so you can make one of your own in any color you’d like. Thanks for linking up, Southern Lovely.  I’m looking forward to seeing more of your projects!
